Position:

NCI, a leading provider of technology, engineering and professional services to the Federal government is expanding our FAA programs and is seeking a Senior Program Manager to support this strategic effort.  The FAA Senior Program Manager will be responsible for managing a key NCI FAA program in Oklahoma.  The Senior Program Manager will also work in partnership with our executive management and corporate development teams to enable the growth and success of FAA programs nationwide.  NCI is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager with a demonstrated record of success managing and growing large technology programs (services and solutions delivery) in the Federal market space.

Responsibilities:

The Senior FAA Program Manager will be responsible for building, running and growing a key FAA program in Oklahoma.  Key responsibilities are as follows:

  • Serve as sponsor and NCI focal point for the FAA program.
  • Manage program operations to include revenue, profitability, growth (new and organic), staffing, and quality performance.
  • Provide technical and management direction and leadership.  Oversee program and project personnel.
  • Assure quality performance, positive customer satisfaction and continuous process improvement.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify Task Order opportunities in advance, understand customer’s requirements and goals, help steer opportunities and develop/lead Task Order response (in conjunction with internal support team) .
  • Support proposal writing on Task Orders and for other SIRs/RFPs.
  • Work collaboratively with Senior Vice President and Senior Account Manager to build the Account plans, to identify investments, and to grow the pipeline of opportunities.

 

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in services/solutions delivery for FAA programs.  Candidate will be a disciplined manager, strategic thinker and entrepreneur with a strong account/program development background.  Relevant technical, program/policy, or subject matter expertise in the FAA market space is required.

 



Position requires a Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information systems, or relevant discipline plus 15 + years of progressively relevant experience.  This must include minimum of five years IT support management experience on a contract/program of value $100M or larger.  Excellent understanding of FAA/Civilian agencies, programs and contracting is essential, along with a track record of success.  Must be a leader with strong oral and written communication skills.

PMP certification required.  TS clearance a plus.
